Hosting, Tier One «
This is our lowest-cost service. Only for hosting a personal website. $10.00 / month. Pay annually and receive a 10% discount. Plenty of diskspace, webmail, database, email (pop,imap,webmail), free installation of WordPress or whatever blogging software you like. We offer this account to encourage individual interest in contributing to web content.
Hosting, Tier Two «
This is for small companies and non-profit organizations. $20.00 / month. Pay annually and receive a 10% discount. More diskspace than tier one, webmail, database, email (pop,imap,webmail). Better level of support than Tier One - your tasks will be completed ahead of Tier One requests, and we don't mind spending time on the phone with you helping you to set up office email, understand this or that technology, and explain in English what all these web terms mean.
Hosting, Tier Three «
This is for hosting a web application that is important to your business's operations or an online store. $50.00 / month. Same great service as Tier Two, but you also get free usage of our SSL domain for secure transactions, more backup options, etc. Generally, this is the fee when we host an application we've designed for you that will require ongoing support and maintenance.
Dedicated Server «
This is for a company that wants or needs its own server. Why would you need your own? Mainly this would relate to either security (you want to be the only user with an account on the server) or performance (you want to be sure that every operation of the computer's processor is dedicated to your company's stuff and no one else's). In addition, you might have a high bandwidth site - delivering video or audio, and you need a maxed out system configuration - multiple processors, more storage space, clustering, etc.
Essentially there are hosting and equipment costs for this option. We'll find out your needs, design a computer configuration that's up to the task and give you a quote. Sometimes we can roll the server cost into your monthly fee. Other times we'll let you buy the server and we'll configure it, install it in our wonderful data facility, and manage it for you.
Hosting for a dedicated server starts at 250.00 / month. There is a 10% discount for paying annually, and a 5% discount for paying semiannually. We tend to use DELL servers unless you have a special requirement such as the need for an Apple or SUN server. After we talk, we'll get a quote for you so you'll know what the cost will be upfront with no question.
Caveats «
Note that all prices quoted above are the rule of thumb. Occasionally a user will have huge bandwidth or diskspace requirements and we will need to work out a different fee per month. We're always eager to work with you to get a good solution for hosting that meets your budget. Our backup plans have backup plans and we'll find some way to get what you need.
